Just want to say a big thank you once again, we got a capacitor delivered for under £15. Hubby fitted it and it is now in good working order once again :tleft:

Thank you for your reply, will get hubby to do this when he gets home from work.

I’ve just tried it again and after about 20 mins from putting on a wash cycle it bleeped and has come up with AL10.

Dumb question, but where is the capacitor? Just looked at hotpoint spares and they have 2 types of capacitor for our model.
