Garage had got so cold that when weather warmed up I noticed condensation had formed on the OUTSIDE of the door and widows!

So over the weekend I decided to take Martin and Odems advice but with an improvment – I installed the washing machine in the kitchen and the wife in the garage. After all, the washing machine is only 10 years old and the wife nigh on 60. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist or a washing machine engineer to figure out which one is going to be first to leave puddles of warm water on the kitchen floor!

Ah bliss, life don’t get better than this.

Thanks Martin my reputation is intact. Had I taken the trouble to read the manual all those years ago when we got it I would have drained it when the weather turned nasty. Will not make that mistake again!
I put it in the garage as the wife was always complaining that she did not get out much.
