Many thanks Dave, I had already stripped it down and found that part with a blackened band around the centre so assumed it might be that.
It’s awfully expensive for such a tiny part (£25) from the site you gave me!
I have actually ordered one from a local spares shop now and they quoted £22, so it seems they are very fair.
