    *Total for basket (singles) £191.75, £235.64, £203.85

All prices are before vat for single items except where stated.
This is just a guide, but all prices have been checked today.
These are not necessarily the cheapest suppliers of these parts,
Indeed some of these items are actually cheaper from the
Manufacturer direct. Also don’t forget that price is not
Always the ultimate factor when buying parts, speed of
Service, carriage charges and support should also be
    Considered.
*basket total is based on multiple prices as indicated but applied in this case for single items.

    Re: Hot News About Indesit

Just seen a video of the said Watchdog Programme, all set to corny music (electric 6 “High Voltage” hey, tasteful guys, did they not think of “Firestarter”) They seemed to cut off from the expert just as he was revealing the cause but I think he said it was a resistance in the live wire to the heater. I guess he must mean in the timer rather than the heater itself as the picture shown weemed to show a door/console area fire. Mind you, knowing watchdog, they may have torched one just for filming.
They stated that they have had reports of 11 dishwasher fires, 5 of which were Indesit, 4 of those being D63’s all pretty worrying given that many dishwashers these days include delay timers. I have a couple of D61’s in stock that I think I am going to be stuck with.

Post your post code here, someone here will probably help you out, more than £22 though but maybe not as much as the other figure quoted.

    Re: British gas

I finally got my heating/hot water back on on Saturday 6pm. They promised to call Saturday morning with the part, but rang about 11 to say it will be 2-6 instead. Mrs Strummer said that the engineer recieved an electric shock after about 30 mins of working on the boiler. this would tell me that he didnt check if it was live and had carried out a fair bit of dissmantling on a live appliance. So much for all that Corgi training if they fail to drill into you basic electrical safety. After he tried to turn on the heating and searched the house for a room stat…there isnt one
We now also have a yellow patch on the kitchen lino that wasnt there before and so far hasnt cleaned off and he has run off with all the hinge screws of the cupboard door I removed to make it easier for him.

    Re: Starve The Cameras

This really is the pits. Drive “even more carefuly in Febuary” isnt that the point of the cameras anyhow?
So what if it is a revenue earner anyhow? It would only be more on your council tax anyhow and if it funds other police activities well all the better.
If you get flashed by a camera its only your own fault and why anyone thinks they are above the law is above me. The 30 limits are there for a reason.
We have turned into a nation of lazy car users, just stand outside my local bank for 10 minutes and see the drivers park on the double yellow to use the cash machine even though free, legal parking is available on the opposite side of the road just to save the extra 10 walking steps. And that is also the reason you cannot park your van in order to work as the space you would have had is taken by some no nothing who is too much of a snob to take the bus.
More congestion charging, traffic wardens, and speed enforcment.

Recieved A cheque today, for the way overdue amounts but not without a lot of emails and phone calls and re-faxing lost invoices etc. Hoping this is just a glitch, not a monthly hassle.
