You are correct.
Condensor is cleaned relatively regular, but as for opening the door, 😳 you’d be correct.
Looks like its under warranty so I don’t have to ‘worry’ at this stage.
Thanks.

Anyjoy Mr. C?
If not I’ll pay the exorbitant MFI prices… sniff.
Let me know, important to me, but to you’re daily task of solving problem maybe not so much.
Thanks for the help so far.

8)
I went to visit the friendly team at the MFI in Sowton, explained my predicament.
They have a built in Diplomat Fridge Freezer APM6012, that uses slides and guides, (part number(s) H003888 and H004777), that I reckon could be utlised, not enough side centre pops but I can solve that.
I’d prefer to get the correct ones from you if possible.

😀
OK.
Will do today.
There appear to be centre pop indents for screw fittings on the door panels (Servis unit), but I’ll trek down to the Made For …. Inspiration store and check it out.
Thanks.

😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
yeah baby…OK.
Tipped it up on its side;
took base off;
removed pump;
cut off the moulded 1.5″ long perished rubber hose;
replaced with rubber hose & two jubilee clips;
replaced pump;
put all the wires neatly back in position;
replaced base;
righted to correct position;
switched on at fuse;
et voila…yeah baby.
Gotta say that whirpool and I guess everyone else use some pretty cheap and crap materials down there.
SO to save the cash you need;
A t15 torx head;
A slot head screw driver;
2 off Jubilee clips;
1.5″ long of 30mm ID (or a little over) of rubber hose;
and this website.Many thanks gentlemen, I’m sure I’ll return, but not for this problem.

Right – found many conversations on the hose topic.
I’ll cut the hose and replace with some PTFE hose/ rubber hose, clip it and see it it works.
Will advise in the next few days if I haven’t smashed the dishwasher up in bloody-knuckled rage.
Many thanks for your help so far.

The price scared me. New Dishwasher is the next option.
Where can I find reference to the hose repair? Shrouded or replacement?
I can spend a bit of time on this to repair the hose/ pipe work, if you can assist me with your knowledge.
Please provide some pointers and I’ll take the chappy apart.
Many thanks.

I’ll think about it then.
I’ll come back to you or Mr Conway.
Is the £120 the all in price or plus vat and shipping?
Please advise and thanks for the advice so far.

ParticipantRe: Ikea Whirlpool DWF 416
OK.
Did everthing but couldn’t find the leak path.
Called in a fitter, who identified the pipework on the pump as the leak path.
He’s tried to see if Whirlpool will replace the pipe, but with no real sucess – it seems to be an issue of buying the pump only.
Is this the case, cos a new dishwasher looks to be a similar price.
Can you guys confirm/ deny/ help?
Jon

Tried that.
Will the removal of the water (not a lot) automatically reset the float switch?
