Did you get this sorted out as we have exactly the same problem with our LG WM 1480 FHD. I suspected bearings so changed them as a washing machine novice it took me £23 in parts and 3 hours labour.

No bananas though still the LE fault code.

The motor looks good at a quick glance.

Where are you with yours now?
