Traced to nts broken wire at hinge where loom bends (bottom door) resoldered insulate and free loom which had attached itself to sticky insulation pad now works fine and loom has a little more movement when door open/closed Cheers thanks for all the info, have a happy wife now.

Sorted thanks to jimlux found broken wire leading eventually to nts, the loom itself was stuck into the sticky insulation which I don’t think was right so freed it off so it can move a little more when door open/closed. Heat back on and a happy wife. Thanks for all the support

how do you mean ? I removed the nts from the bottom of the drain sump I suppose you would call it, like a small pen top looking item 2 wires out of it, twist fit

anti clockwise yes and yes to WD40 and leave over night to soak in. Could also try a hairdryer to heat the nut then pour cold water over it, expansion contraction type thing, might just loosen it

beko DW603 I measured the terminals on the heater 30ohms. I also measured the terminals on the NTS, when in room temp 900 when run under hot water dropped down to250ish. Machine runs through wash cycle and completes just leaves everything cold and wet no fault codes showing.

Sounds silly but try tightening it first, might just free it

so any ideas what could be causing no heating? can the nts be tested? I removed it and got 90ohms (cold) ran it under a hot tap went down to about 25-30ohms is that ok aswell?

I used a fluke multi meter and am experienced photo copier technician dealing with mains faults on a regular basis so know what I am doing. But I am confused by your reply, what stat? are you saying the nts is knackered?
