i have looked into this further, im sure that UN5364 will not work as the shaft length is only 13 mm compared with 45mm for the original part. But after searching around i found this : http://www.apart4u.co.uk/acatalog/info_ … X1132.html. Its made by the same manufacturer as the original part (FIME), lit ooks a idential and has exact same dimensions. even the part number is almost the same – my part is FIME C15RP8130 and this one is FIME C15RP9130 (replace the 8 with a 9). i am going to try this and see if it works!

Hi Effox i have the exact same model and problem. like you i removed the fan motor for the freezer section about 1 week ago. It still works (sort of) but it does not quite get as cold as before as there is no longer the assistance of the fan to help circulate the cool air.
did you try ordering/ fitting the universal fan motor (part no UN5364) that you mentioned. i would place an order for this part but i wanted to see if it is a good match for the original / if it had worked for you. i found a place that are selling the original blomberg fan motor but they are quoting £75 which seems excessive
with regard to point 3 that you made, if you open the freezer door there is a white panel at the top inside that conceals the freezer element. this can be removed using a large flat head screwdriver to prise it out of the holes in the chassis that it slots into. once this cover is removed you will be able to see the fan at the back of machine behind the element. You can then access the fan in order to manouvre / push back into position to allow reconnection to the fan motor , but it needs two people to do this i found. one to lift and hold the fan into position using a long neck screwdiver from the front of the machine. the second person can then push the spindle of the fan motor’ onto the fan from the back of the machine.
i have been able to sucessfully reconnnect the fan motor and fan in this way , however my fan motor is still faulty so i have removed it for the time being until i can find a suitable replacement unit.
