I have just recently bought my first home and this oven was in there so don’t know if the grill worked before. I will call an engineer out, do you know roughly how much they wil charge me?

Hi Ken

I removed the grey pipe and it was filthy looks like some water coming back up the stack pipe. I also noticed that the stack pipe had come away from the wall and was almost horizontal I’m surprised I didn’t get loads of water on the floor after every wash!! I fixed it securely and inserted the grey pipe 10cm in ….. everything is working fine now!!

Brilliant thx Ken I will have a look at the weekend and let you know how I get on.

I have just bought my first home and the previous owners left me their washer / dryer, they said it was not quite 2yrs old I was grateful as cant afford a new machine ….. mmm not so sure now !!!

Yeah I did check the water was flowing in by opening the draw. What I don’t understand is, why it fills during the fabric conditioner stage which is the final stage before spinning, but seems to flow out during the wash and rinse stages. To me that doesn’t make any sense.

Now I am a girl and know nothing so be gentle with me.

Where do I locate the grey waste hose to make sure it’s not pushed too far into the vertical stack pipe? Idiot guide would be great!!!
