    Re: SMEG Repairs

many thanks for the ultra fast reply!
my post code is ng8 1nd

regarding the rottiserie (when you say it’s simple) is it likely that the motor is ok but the mechanism (if there is such a thing 😕 ) has come loose?

are the heater elements simple to replace or will i need an engineer?

    regards

    Re: SMEG Repairs

Looks like i’m stuffed for this years turkey!

I have a smeg a42 with rottiserie, which i did actually use quite a bit (and thought was ace) until it stopped rottiserie-ing about a year ago! i could never be bothered to find out what the problem was, BUT NOW THE MAIN RING HEATER ELEMENT HAS GONE ON ME!!
bloody smeg!…after reading most of these posts i realise what a mediocre to poor build quality these products actually are! (cost me close to £1500 with hood and splash!? 😯 )

can anyone tell me what’s up with me rottiserie and my main heater element and where i may get spares from?
dec 25th is closing in on me fast..any help would be greatly appreciated.
