bagman wrote:Yes Jim, that’s exactly what I’m saying (and Dave as well I think).
I’ve gone to a couple of cookers where internal wires have come adrift due to poor assembly and was worried that they might be misconstrued when seen on the jobsheet.
These are definitely NOT chargeable jobs, they are faulty cookers where the wires were not tightened correctly at the factory.

Hi Bagman
Funny enough YES!!!
Iv’e had two where the lead supplying the hobs has come adrift, and after reading the email from Amica admin about wire off pumps etc I got a little concerned that we would not get paid.

The ISE 10 is made in Sweden and is of commercial grade so you will not get any ‘concrete block’ issues,in fact it’s made of cast iron, buy one you won’t be disappointed.

At what point in any of my posts have i said it was this seal that has leaked??
I forgot to say,the one i refitted also had a dryer on top, which stayed there and perhaps i will make this clear as well …..the front of the machine was NOT removed either.kladave
ParticipantRe: 1607w rubber lip thing around door
Bloody hell Mark i thought you were the dogs when it came to Asko stuff.Perceverance is all that is needed to refit and from memory you don’t need to stretch it on!!

Hi Mark
Thought the same a few months ago when presented with the same.
Customer had a leak on the door seal and showed me where the leak was coming from and just ripped the rubber lip off the machine,I thought jeez whats he doing but got it back on with no probs at all and iirc went on the opposite to what you think it may go back on!!
Front stays on the machine but i removed the door assy.Dave
