    Understand thanks. It definitely does heat, as it gets hot at the beginning of the cycle as I can feel the top of the dishwasher and also have opened it and it steams. However at the end when it is meant to be hot when the door opens, it is cold. Before, the dishes would be hot to touch and dry. This is no longer the case

    Thanks. Wouldn’t it be best to eliminate something else first though? If a heater typically fails and wouldn’t heat at all, why would I be best to start by eliminating that? Is there a way to test a thermostat ?

    Thanks kwatt. Would a heater that still heats up during part of the cycle still be faulty? Assume there’s some sort of temperature switch in there maybe integrated with the heater? Thanks
