I suppose my main concern is once opened, it seems to take ages and ages (over night) for the temperature to get cooler.

I actually have two different themometors and they are reading slightly differently…

The newer digital one is saying 5 degrees, 7 on average, but the glass one I was using before is showing it within the correctly marked “fridge” range.

I did the glass of water method
​ the other day as well and the glass themometors was showing correctly as well.

For reference, they are both on the middle shelf (where recommended).

Aa an aside, should frost on the back wall be a concern?
