Hi nomad
Yes it was repeating the fault so I think low water can be ruled out…
I will test the element for resistance readings – and don’t worry it is unplugged!November 9, 2011 at 2:20 pm in reply to: Heater problem on Bosch Excell d/w Model Number: SGS46E28GB #362913Le Boche

Hi I checked the module out and there are no obviously blown/dry joints = could anyone tell me what other checks I can make to the heater element and any other components? Someone mentioned something about a ‘bypass’ – at least I think that’s what he said?!

Is this the circuit board I need to be looking at?

Right well thanks for that
I really just wanted to know where to locate the relevant circuit board so I could check for an obviously blown/dry joint. The only one I can see is behind the control panel and that is enclosed in a case which I can’t see how to open!

Could you hear his spurs jangling as he got down off his horse? :rolls:
Find an engineer 😉
I’m not being funny but haven’t you got anything better to do?
In case you didn’t get it, I want to fix it myself… :rolls:
