Thanks for the link. However I’m hoping they will repair it as the current model (T1643) is bigger than my existing one and it would mean cutting the granite!!!
If anyone who sells them could check for me that would be great. It was the top end of the hob range at the time so would have cost me a pretty penny!!

Hi. Thanks but I wasn’t talking about my garden shed, just tools inside the house relating to my business which are mostly out on the van all day but get bought in during weekends/holidays etc. etc.
I’m currently with CIS and up for renewal and was trying to get alternative quotes – that’s where the problem started – hardly any companies are interested!!
Keep ’em coming though please.

Hello everyone. Just to conclude this sorry sage – Bosch (Appliance Care) sent out a senior engineer today and has already arranged its replacement. He advised that a band had come loose causing the concrete weight to drop and damage the door and the cables etc. etc.
No hassle or anything fortunately.I said that I had heard that it was one of the worse machines that Bosch had made, and he smiled knowingly……….
So, a happy ending. Thanks to everyone for their help.

No, carer definitely not overloading machine. There was only one little sheet in it at the time anyway. Shouldn’t cause the entire concrete rim to collapse into the kitchen anyway. It literally came off in one piece.
Anyone else heard of it please.

Hi. This washer dryer was purchased by me and is used by a carer who looks after my 95 yr old dad in his flat. It is used every 2-3 days only. I purchased it in Jan 2005 so although out of its 2 year guarantee, is still not fit for purpose and should not have happened. It could have caused a very nasty accident if someone had been standing next to it.
Any other suggestions please?

Thanks for the info but unfortuntely Bradshaws have never heard of a manufacturer called Blue Ice!!!!!!!
Its a domestic type ice making machine that is sold in Costco.
Any other suggestions – clean ones please 🙂
