ParticipantRe: Zanussi WDT1065 bearing help
Hi again colint
I split the machine as you described with no problems.
One of the bearings appeared to have totally collapsed, which has caused nasty scoring to the shaft, which will also have to be replaced
I’m not sure whether to scrap the zanussi or buy a new machine.
My wife has just informed me that she wants a new machine!!Whatever happens thanks for all the help.
Many thanks

ParticipantRe: Zanussi WDT1065 bearing help
Hi everybody
It’s my first time here so please bear with me.
It’s a question for colint as i’ve got a noisey fl1084 (especially noisey on spin) and i reckon the bearings need replacing.
Can you outline how to do it and if any special tools are required.
Also where did you buy your kit, i’ve seen them for £16 + p&p which sounds good to me.I’m an electronics engineer by trade and have done loads of diy / car maintenance, so I feel fairly competent
Many thanks
