    Re: Zanussu condenser dryer TC-470

I had already tried this.I removed all the clips holding the two sections together cleaned all the passageways checked the valves on both the container and housing.I poured a container of water into the area that collects the water and it flowed into the containor. The water is still getting into the heater area. Any more suggestions appreciated.

This problem has me baffled. I tested between the pins of the plugtop and got a reading between all the pins.I removed the lower plastic cover at the rear bottom right and removed the heater plug and the fault went clear.I removed the heater cover to find that the heater was wet.I dried it out with a hair dryer and it worked OK for the next batch of drying and failed again on the second.I removed the rear cover and cleaned out all water passages I also cleaned out the float chamber.I reassembled everything again it worked OK for the first batch and failed on the second. Somehow water is getting into the heater housing and is being deposited on the heater element. I am not in the trade just a lifetimes DIY experience in maintaining my own houshold equipment.I have all the necessary test equipment and tools and would appreciate more suggestions.
