    Hi … For safety tried with the machine turned off but still no change … Should the dishwasher be turned ON for the reset button to be activated ?

    Thanks … I will give it a try … Btw …. Do you need to turn off the power to reset the thermostat?

    Hi All,
    I have a similar problem with my SMEG SA662X and wondered where I can find the “red button” , which Penguin45 had referred, to reset the thermostat as the dishwasher is now 11 yrs old and it’s difficult finding parts … My last resort before thinking about a replacement.
    Is there a diagram where the button can be accessed?
