    Hi Dave,
    As a man of over 10K posts I do appreciate your time and interest.
    OK, one full cycle completed and no leaks visible.
    But does make me wonder what happened to cause the pooling.
    One more question please:
    If I remove the black salt input cap (visible on the zoomed out earlier picture) it is full to the brim with water.
    Is that normal?

    INTERIM REPORT:
    Dave, you are the man!!
    Panel off and there I find about half an inch of water. Mopped it up and dried it out. Switch on and no more running pump!!
    Now to test for leaks and clean off any gunk.

    Thanks Dave. You mean on the front of the machine? So no need to pull it out as it’s built-in.
    Is there any source for diagrams and/or manuals that show the breakdown of these machines?
    You say “units need modifying” – in what sense do you mean? An adjustment?
