I agree with caveman.

We have sold 100’s of this model and never had a customer report a faulty plug.

However we do get called out to burnt out wall sockets.

Don’t just change the wall socket though as the cable to it could have been damaged by access heat.

Have a qualified electrician inspect and repair it.

The thermostat will have a power in from the timer and a wire that runs from the other live switched side to the element.
Test with a meter that you have a feed in to the Thermostat and when turned on a feed out. Remember the clock has to set to manual to do this.
If no feed in it is most likely a faulty timer.
