Many thanks for your reply – sounds liek a switch issue as you say, as it’s only tripping after being switched off. Is there likley to be a lose wire or something behind teh siwtch I can access or would it be a whole switch replacement do you think?

Forgot to ask – does it matter too much if the element is 2200w or 2500w – that one you highlighted sounds very good value for money.

The plate showing model number had a wee bit of grease on it – should have used a better torch! 🙂

I’ve now found the model number of the oven – it’s FFP403X Type MR03.

Any help about element extraction much apprecaited.

The instruction book that cam eiwth it is next to useless!

Thanks for your reply – I couldn’t see a rating plate but will have a good look again tonight. There was a guarantee slip I found that came with it (out of date and all in italian) which quoted model PL 40 AX and a further code no 33800588 – would that be the oven make? If not I’ll re-check later.
