Quick update, seems the fault may now be fixed. Fingers crossed.

I removed all three control boards – display, inverter and main control. Resoldered all pins on Inverter IC and blanket solder the rest of the caps etc. Cleaned all connections and re-assembled. The good news I saw all Rubycon electrolytic capacitors throughout! 🙂

I’ve since found that Error 24 below:- [TABLE=”border: 1″]

[TD]DBUS connection disconnected, inverter is not switched on, inverter defective[/TD]
[TD]Check the cable to the inverter, check the inverter when the program has started[/TD]

Hi Dave,

I’ve done a bit of googling and found that my dryer seems to have the same control board as the Bosch Home Professional WTY88700AU/07 (same test mode too) which according to another site mentions this is Bosch T24xi. They host a service manual for this model but of course it’s not free and you need to be in the trade etc.
