Thanks I did spot this page, but I notice that my particular dishwasher is
not listed on this page or the page selling the part. Is there any way of telling
if it does definetly fit?

Also apart from taking off random parts of the washer – whereabouts will this
part be so I can remove it and examine it for faults?

Thanks thats an interesting suggestion, I didn’t know the performance of the fan was that critical, the element does look quite new and certainly gets too hot to touch almost instantly.

How would I gauge if the the fan is slow running or not?

Three good suggesitons but my lack of expereince mean testing these three ideas is going to be tricky as I don’t know what is
correct running.

Brilliant thanks, I’m kinda assuming it the element since the light is on the whole time (the other oven it goes off when at temp). How do I test the element? I’m assuming it should be a certain number of ohms?
