    Re: Bosch D/W no heat?

start a cycle and measure the power from pcb to element. If no 240 coming through its board.Have you ever taken apart a heat pump? Its a metal tube with “printed” element path on it. Usually dishwasher and wm heating elements are max few hundred ohms.

Done a lot of these as insurance jobs, electronics, bearings, drain pumps, heating elements. PCB i reckon but the question is what caused it. I guess you have checked the fuse 🙂 and for short circuit.

I had quite a few of BSH’s sump seal especially at the back of it.Some new sumps come with a plastic pin sticking out there which on certain models you have to cut off.I found some manufactured that monday job way (they forgot to cut).

Even if the compressor would be dead, i could replace it it just a matter of hard soldering and getting the compressor from china (you can buy anything on alibaba):) Oh and also an F-gas certificate to buy R134a 🙂

    Re: Inner surface flaking.

Sand it and repaint with appliance enamel, if it bothers you or if stains the clothes.
