    Thx for the help. Although my terminology may not be the correct I was told by my mate that he checked for continuity and used an ammeter n found all correct, atleast the hints he could check.

    Just checked door switch and its ok. Dismantled front panel but don’t know what to check for?

    Would appreciate any more help, how do I check the door switch, or any other part of the dryer?

    Thanks for the prompt reply. The model is Electrolux EDC67150W. What I seem to recall is even if the door was open the start/stop button would flash n green.

    Hi
    I can get one from work tomorrow. Shouldn’t have much of a problem using it, nevertheless I can ask a collegue(electrician) to come with me. I did check with a tester for elec current and found current going up the cable into the appliance. Dismantled top and front panel but couldn’t see any type of fuse which may have gone.
