Re: WD62 door switch explanation !

    thank for reply …

What safety is there that ensures door is closed ? otherwise just by turning m/c on would give 240v at switch ,with door open ??
Is it when door is closed and switch is manually operated by door catch that the heater is then functional to deadlock the door and supply back to controls as you describe ??

I’m getting 240V supply across L and N , but no 240V on feed to pressure switch ( off terminal C of switch )…so looks like switch is knackered !

If I manually close switch will this give continuity across from L to C ? ie across the contacts …does manually operating switch close these contacts ?
Testing with meter for continuity – not ‘live ‘ obviously !

Just with it being Xmas , its impossible to get a new switch for a while !
