I noticed on the original sensor one of the white wires had silver writing on it
I have done the same as you
replaced the sensor then half hour later it cu out again. i have now swapped the white wires around to see if this makes a difference. I am sure before my cooling fan was not working but it is now.

I have also had the same problem. I had a look but could not identify any silver writing on either of the white wires, but I changed them around and it stilll has not made any difference.

Any help would be much appreciated.
