    Meter testing done & discovered motor problems which have now been cured.

    Thanks. Have got an electrician coming for some other work so he may be able to help here. Otherwise will take to a repairer. Can the test be done with the motor in place & how is the timer unit checked?

    No meter & wouldn’t know what to do with one if I had one.
    Let me know if there are still a number of possible problems (which could be expensive). The washer is 7 years old so may have to cut my losses.
