While trying to diagnose which of the three elements could be the problem I disconnected one at a time and found the culprit to be the bottom element. I decided to run the oven at max temperature with the bottom element disconnected for a hour and now it’s reconnected and functioning!

Brilliant advice to heat it up to dry it out although I didn’t remove it 🙂

Hopefully it won’t fail when it cools down

Yes for a good 6 months it would have been very cold with little insulation and no central heating!

I’ll give what you suggest a go as I have another old oven so I can dry the elements out in there
