    Re: Dishwasher Engineers 2??

Yes I gave up because obviously it is all the washing machine repair men against me !!

You may think that you are real engineers, but fact is that you are not and never will be. If any of you had worked in a real engineering environment you would not be working fixing washing machines in peoples homes – laughable isnt it 😀

Bye bye now, im off and I won’t be coming back to view any more ridiculous comments where washing machine men are pretending to be real engineers…The cheek of it.

    Re: Dishwasher Engineers?

    Boro,

Now you are getting pretty insulting.

Point missed again !! The point was that you should not refer to yourselves as engineers.

You don’t need to prove how qualified you are to me, or how many washing machines you’ve fixed. And resorting to saying “I hope all your appliances fail” is a bit pathetic isn’t it ! The fact is that if they did fail I’d repair them myself – as always !

You would say that you’ve repaired machines that real engineers could not fix. I like the way you refer to “REAL ENGINEERS” though!

Well done with your summing up of the “REPAIR MAN” with the comment about urinating in appliances. Enough said !

And for the record I do enjoy my job a great deal, and working with “REAL ENGINEERS” in the nuclear industry is a great pleasure.

    Re: Dishwasher Engineers?

    Martin,

If you had put many years of hard work and effort into qualifying as an engineer then you would share my opinion, which is one of most engineers.

To put it into perspective – many years of university study followed by > five years of proven experience working in industry as a trainee engineer.

I think I have earnt the title of ENGINEER, then the guy who comes to fix the photocopier/washer etc also calls himself an engineer ??? How does that work?

    Its a F***ing insult my friend !!

    Re: Dishwasher Engineers?

The question is not whether I can fix all types of appliances.
FACT – Yes more than likely with appropriate cct diagrams and information that you readily have access to.

The question is also not that you don’t make an honest living from such work. The fact is yes you can and do.

The question is why you call yourselves “ENGINEERS” when technically and educationally you are not.

Often the fix for an appliance repair man/woman is to change the control board etc. Real engineers found in industry would be quite capable of repairing such a control board. Thats the difference !

So maybe scrap the ENGINEER part and replace with “Repair man/woman”.
