Sorry to answer a question with lots of questions but………..are you looking for the American side by side style or the usual fridge on top and freezer underneath arrangement? What physical size? Is there any colour option preferred?

Answers to these will hopefully point us in the right direction for you 😉

    Don

Ideally something that has the same features as our current Samsung SRL3928B
    same size etc

Our current one runs too cold and will cost too much to fix it.
LG do fridge/freezer with similar freatures. I need to know if that will be another £88-just-to-open-my-toolbox affair in five years time as well

Yes, I have just paid £88 to a Samsung appoved engineer to be told that it will cost over £200 to fix it!!

    Re: mains suppressor?

    Thanks for the quick reply!

The dryer is actually at the repair shop – so I can’t give you the model/serial number etc.

I took it there for them to diagnose it for my convenience really rather than waiting for someone to call in.

It’s 8 years old but has not had much use so it’s a question whether it is fixing or not.

At £7 the answer would be yes… at £40+ pounds it becomes less clear.

They want to know tomorrow what I want to do with it,
    a) get them to fix it
    b) get them to bin it
    c) collect it and try and get/fit the parts myself

I suspect that getting them to fix it would be best…

What causes a suppressor to fail anyway?

    Thanks

Re: Tricity Bendix – Smelly Plates problem

I’d like to thank Martin as well!

Why? Because Delta68 is my wife and we were just about at our wits end with this dishwasher and ready to buy a new one.

We bought the dishwasher off a friend some years back who was only selling it because she wanted a built-in jobby and consequently didn’t come with an instruction manual.

    Re: My beeping Samsung SRL3928B!

I located and disconnected the buzzer which means the problem is quiet now at least!

It’s still switching to super by itself. Any ideas why?

I don’t think I’ll ever by another Samsung. Their out-of-warranty support is a joke!
