    Re: SMEG dishwasher DW1710

Hi Dave, Thanks for your reply, I cannot get anyone out until after easter, and then I will be away for a couple of weeks, so this is why I was trying to find how to re-set it myself, so that it would be working while I am away!

I have checked there is no water in the bottom of the machine

If anyone has a method to re-set the AquaStop, or any other suggestions that caould be causing this problem, I would be very greatful!. If I cannot fix it myself I will get someone out after I return, I just wanted to get the machine working for my wife while I am away!

Hi “Penguin”, Thank you for your reply. I have tried this already, but it has no effect. There is no “re-set” button on the control panel & I cannot see anything that looks like one inside the machine. If there is one, please could you advise the location!

I have read on this forum that other models of SMEG DW have certain key combinations that force a re-set (power off/on press prog 4 times, etc) – is there such a series of key strokes that work on this model?

Is there any thing else that could cause this lack of, well anything, from the machine after a flood. I am sure this is not just a coincedence that the fault occured the same time as the flood. I have inspected all the electrics & there is no evedence of any shorting.

    Thank you for your help
