    i have now ordered a new reset switch thanks to dave.
    also a friend told me to put the faulty part in the freezer overnight to see if it would reset… and it did dishwasher is now working fine

    went to bec components they couldn’t help so now i am stuck
    i have read in previous post there is a replacement part that no one has been able to provide as yet. hope the picture will help

    great news now all i need is a spare part, i have an large appliance spares shop near me called bec components i will try them on sat
    see if they can help is there any technical info i can give them to obtain the right part or should i try elsewhere, reading other posts a replacment exists ?

    no luck finding the reset switch on my dishwasher i belive you can’t get parts for this thing so no point calling anyone out is it time for the skip?
    i do have photos with back off but still getting E3 error

    thanks for the reply i will try and find the reset switch first (going of previous post) and test the heater also any other tips would be welcome

    Right – 3 in 1 tablets froth badly, foam has rather different thermal properties compared with water and an overheat situation on the element will happen. This should, in theory, trip out the safety thermostat on the underside of the machine. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to source you a replacement. If you are unlucky, the element many have failed as well. You will need to use a test meter to find out for certain.

    If you are not sure how to proceed, use the repairs@ link below to find a UKW repairer in your area.

    Power off, if you intend to investigate this yourself.

    i have an out of gtee necht wqp12-9319 whcich has an error code E3
    displaying it seems to start ok but the water isn’t heating up but it drains ok
    we have been using 3in1 tablets so from what i have read this could be a cause. not sure about the reseting suggestion i have seen on this site would this help? any suggestion would be appreciated
