Hi Dave, I don’t think it’s the control, as the hood is telescopic, that part along with the lights still function OK. The motor buttons light up when the speed is selected. I have also tested the fuse on the board which is OK. Thanks

Thanks Dave, not getting anything from the motor at all. Plus the controls are touch so I don’t think it’s them.
A new motor is quite expensive which is making me consider a replacement extractor instead.

Re: Bosch KGU 3201 removal LED panel to replace PCB

    Thanks for that

Managed to finally remove the cover, have borken a couple of the plastic clips on the top in the process 🙁

The FF had died earler today when we lost power to the house, removed the PCB to find that a capacitor has fried, I have an old PCB with the E2 error problem and plugging this in, bought the FF back to life.

As am unable to find out what size/type capacitor this is , looked up the number on the ‘working’ board and this reads K509u. Its a blue coloured flat small circular cap, any ideas what this could be?

I dont want to remove the cap from the working PCB and then be left with two duds if you see what am mean

    Thanks

Re: Bosch KGU 3201 Fridge Freezer – Freezer not working righ

    Hi there,

ice on the back of the freezer is of the powdery type, after I removed the rear cover yesterday there was a build up of clear ice around the radiator type unit (evaporator?).

Since my original post, the freezer never made it to -18 and instead went up to +6! we have since emptied it of any perishable foods and its currently runnung at +2, this is affer a day of having it on the highest setting.

Would welcome any tips on where to go from here, I am planning to replace but need to keep it running for a couple of months if poss until my cashflow is on an even keel, (just last month had to replace the washing machine!)
