K.I ordered part number C00258633 which I believe is 2m long but the wpro ASG310 is 3m long.

Will a wpro universal vent hose be the same quality as a genuine hotpoint vent hose.

I pulled the old machine out and I can see that you’re right about the angled connector should go on the back of the machine. The way the council put the pipe on it put’s pressure on the connector on the back of the machine when it’s pushed back.

Over the years I’ve always put the angled part on the washing machine but is there any reason why it has to go this way. The reason way I ask is because when the council did the plumbing they put the washing machine valve connector in the wrong place so they took the pipe off the machine and put the angle part on the water pipe valve connector otherwise the pipe would kink and stop the flow of water.
