Sounds similar to my issue, which ultimately ended up being the PCB. Going back over the events, there was a trigger to my problem namely overloading the machine with too many towels, which I think must have cause a surge back from the motor and blown part of my PCB. The E70 and the NTC was a red herring as this checked out okay on the AVo meter. I guess the most important thing is to be sure that you still have a good motor before deciding to spend any money on a replacement PCB costing me around 150 nearly 2 years ago, which would go a good way to buying a new machine. Fortunately mine is still working today (lucky gamble) but if you have a faulty motor the last thing you want to end up happening is it blowing a replacement board after a couple of cycles.
Also worth noting:
Changing programs as you have done did sometimes mean the the machine would look like it was working, however, it did not heat the water and the wash cycle completed too quickly. Plus
E70 Errors can show up right at the beginning because the machine does a complete logic circuit selftest before starting the cycle.Hope you get to resolve it

Update:
I have tested motor before swapping out PCB and all checks out okay on windings. In addition I have ordered the wiring diagram for this model from AEG only a fiver.PCB swapped out…..
Inital turn on of machine put ELE on the Display and started to fill with water(Oh no I thought!!!)
I switched off an back on and sure enough we are now fixed!!!
Okay this leads me to believe there is a reset function on these PCB boards… the ELE more than likely is an intial boot of the PCB short for vendor Eletrolux. Once completed all good. My theory therefore is I may well have cleared an intital NTC issue by my soldering at the begining of this post, however, the PCB may have needed a reset???
In which case does anyone know how to reset these cards? Ie a combination of panel buttons held in with a certain wash cycle selected???
At least this will then leave me with a spare PCB board should I ever need it in the future 🙂Re: AEG Lavamat 76810 E70 error
PCB has arrived will test this evening (everything crossed it fixes it). But before I do, I just want to check there is not an error code reset on these AEG washing machines, like the one one I found below ???
Dont want to find out I have fixed the fault by making good the connection to the NTC but just not reset the PCB board.NOTE: the C9 on some AEG LAVAMAT models like the 71400, 72600,74620, 86720 and possibly others, is the same as the above F9, and is usually MOTOR BRUSHES WORN OUT. After replacement, you will need to clear the fault indication held in the PROGRAMMER PCB logic: With the Switch in the OFF position – Press and hold PRE-WASH and SOAKING buttons in at the same time, then turn the control knob to Short Spin

Complete confusion !!! NTC rewired checked re-checked and checked again, still getting E70 error with 7 beep pattern.
If program selector is turned off and a program reselected/started enough times it will not get the E70 error, however, I’m not getting the heater element warming the water during the cycle, which i did have working on at least one 60deg cycle today.
The machine time seems to go into warp mode and complete the cycle in well under the estimated time too. Ie 80 min (timesaver cycle) will complete in just short of 30 mins and no heating of water.No sure what to try next, one possibility is to start testing voltages on selftest, but not sure if self test are done at program selection or when start button is pressed, or when mains power is switched on.
One last thing to do it to make sure the motor is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} is there a good test link on this forum for checking the windings.
After that I guess it’s time to reach for new PCB 😕

The NTC on old and new element shows about 6.5k at room temp, which steadly reduces as I apply heat, I have also performed a continuity test end to end on the wires, however, I may well replace them just incase there is a break in the wire which only appears when wire is waggled at a certain point along it’s length. Interestingly I have found that I can sometimes stop the E70 error with the selector switch when it is turned off and on and reselect cycle sometimes. But I cannot fool it if I turn the cold supply off to the washing machine and select a cycle. I starting to wonder if the E70 may be related to the water intake. I will not let this washing machine get the better of me ;). Having re-read the basic fault diagnostic page http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ge&pid=353 I am convinced this is not a PCB issue.
Will take a closer look at cold water fill and re-wire NTC to PCB and report back.Re: AEG Lavamat 76810 E70 error
Unfortunately the connector at the back of the NTC was not the problem. I even ended up soldering it to make completely sure. all connectors on the PCB have been pinch together to make a good contact. The washing machine only has a cold water feed, and this appears to be filling correctly, even with the E70 error beeping away. Anymore suggestions or is it swap out the main controller board?

I was just thinking having read the post “Bosch WFP3300 Fault code F07” although a different manufacturer error code, this also relates to the NTC thermistor. Will double check wiring from Heater element to PCB and report back.
I have a feeling the vibration of the drum could well have effected the wire to the connector block on the back of the thermistor on element.
