Installed the new heater unit last night, switched on and the timer still showed 199 minuits, let the machine run a cycle so the timer had chance to learn a wash time. Now all the wash times are back to normal around 110 minuits and the water gets nice and hot. All is well thanks for the help. By the way found the engraved plate, how could you have saved me some money? Just for next time it plays up!

The etched panel doesnt seem to be there, not sure if its come unstuck at some part of its life, thought it would be a shame not to repair the washer as its never let me down and its had alot of work, not into this throw away society either, too many manufactures are happy to use cheaply made parts to produce low quality goods for the high street. Thanks for the offer though. Had to order a full heater unit, shame really as the element can be removed but cant seem to buy this as a separate peice.

just had it all in bits and yep that bit was clogged up, cleaned it out put it back together but same problem, its as though it doubled every programme time. Could it be anything to do with water temp as is doesnt seem to be getting warm?
