Just an update, I managed to successfully repair the fault. It turned out to be a dry joint on an AC/DC converter ic all back up and running perfectly

Sadly yes but I don’t want to throw it away and more importantly I don’t like to be beaten by a fault. My next step I guess is swap components from one board to the next
