    Hi again,
    Perhaps you are not familiar with the Rangmaster 90 grill control, so I will explain. The rotary switch is six position + off. If you turn it to the right it energises half of the grill in three progressive steps. If you turn it the other way it does the same thing but for the whole grill. The problem I have is that when the full hob is on maximum it still cycles between on and off randomly. As this is a grill and not a hob it does not have a simmerstat (but I do know how they work) or a fan.
    Is this clear ?

    Hi Dave,
    thanks for your response. I perhaps didn’t make it as clear as I might! What happens is the elements glow red initially and then go off – and then come on again…. and so on…. sometimes they are completely off for quite a while and then come on again.
