    Thank you. Rangemaster have confirmed the same (although using the two right hand knobs [front right and back right hob plates]). Unfortunately it’s not done the job and Er31 is continuing to flash away. Electrician is returning to investigate further. Thanks for your help

    Hi Tom, Dave,
    Would love to know what configuration sequence you used.
    I had two induction plates showing code E6. An electrician has just replaced the power board (as Rangemaster themselves and various bits of googling suggested). Now none of the 5 plates work as Er31 is flashing away. My electrician has now scarpered. I’ve contacted Rangemaster as well who’ll hopefully send me the sequence but would be grateful if you could share the sequence you got to work.
    My cooker’s a 7 year old Professional Plus 90.
