    Re: whirlpool awz 7913

hi again, unfortunately no warranty on this as it was bought by my nephew from an auction, it is not running at all as i can’t get past the flashing lights scenario, if it cannot be repaired i’ll just have to bin it which would be a shame as everything is new, as i said, everything appears to have continuity and the only problem i can think of is that my nephew may have taken the heater unit apart (and not told me coz i’ll shout at him) and put the wires back in the wrong place, i have traced the wires from the tocs to plugs and heater and it seems like there in the right place? motor is o.k, checked both pcbs (as far as is possible) and can’t find any obvious faults, checked door switch micro and plug, capacitor, and everything else, i think.

your help really is appreciated on this.

    regards

hi penguin 45, many thanks for your swift response, would an o/c exhaust thermo cause this problem? obviously if this is the fault i can order one from here (the least i can do). if i can repair this i will give it to someone who needs one (free) as i have a dryer already.
once again thanks for your help.
