Brilliant ! Hadn’t realised until I got the side off that the unit fills from the sump – thought it came through the inlet half way up the side 🙂

With the help of a torch and mini-drainrodder, managed to get all the way back from the sump to the inlet valve and pulled out some brown goo. Not a lot but it was obviously enough to stop the water flowing fast enough. It now fills properly and the inlet valve only operates once as it should.

Don’t know what I’d do without this site!
