Re: Integrated Washing machines Which one?

Thanks Martin, so you can my problem, what was that all about?

It should have been can you solve my problem!

Only thing available in Barbados is Smeg, but no stock, should get delivery before Christmas, $5500 bds!!! Exchange 3:1.

    Not acceptable!!

Cannot do anything other than integrated as kitchen is fully fitted at great expense, and the American units are wider than 600.

What do you reckon to Indesit?

Don I appreciate what you say about warranty, and obviously we have to live with that.

I am reasonably practical, but Whirlpool are worse than useless when it comes to customer care. And the guys on the forum cannot help.

More and more machines are fully electronic and I guess you need a laptop to diagnose faults.

And that is progress :rolls: :rolls:

Worked for about 3 months but not used much. Voltage is pretty stable in this area.

Lights all 110. Power 110 or 220, depending which room you are in!! Sockets have different pin orientation luckily!

    Re: Whirlpool AWO/D 049 issues!!

Martin most appliances here, even US, are 220 / 240. All new houses have 110 and 220. 50 cycles just to confuse even more. That’s fun! But 110 barely makes you jump! :rotl: :rotl:

We are in Barbados, and the local Whirlpool guys only do American machines I am afraid! Most of those are steam driven, a few electric now!!!!!

WPL481221470499 described as Module – programmed. They obviously had all the numbers from the Machine, and I had to wait ages for it. I think it came from Italy. I did query the part number as it was different to the old one. They assured me it was the correct one for the machine!
