Ok thanks, I’ve run the test and no errors have come up. The circulation pump sounds relatively normal, you can hear the sound of water flowing through, if you open the door water is just coming out of the top of the sprayer tube (spray arm removed) and just sort of glugs up and down at a rhythmic of about once every one or two seconds. If I put the spray arm back on there isn’t even enough pressure to fill the arm up and water to trickle out of it.
How deep should the machine fill with water, it covers the whole base by a few mm in depth, that seems plenty enough for the pump to use but could it be a filling float level issue? I did try pouring more water in but that made no difference to the water coming up the spray pipe. I presume it should be coming out of the pipe at quite a force normally?

Thanks Dave. Sorry I didn’t understand you last sentence. Hold down power and program button for three seconds. Then select mode 3 with the program button, then close the door and it will run the test cycle? Then if it seems to stop press the timer delay button to make it carry on with the testing? How will it show up any errors?

Out of interest do you know how to run a test cycle on my dishwasher. All info I can find says to hold down the mode selector button and start button for 3 seconds my my dishwasher doesn’t have a start button. If starts automatically when I close the door after selecting the right mode. It has a power button, mode selector button (p), half load button, extra power spray button and a timer button

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. I can’t find any blockage along the route so I’m reasonably confident it’s not that. If it was a faulty board, would I see an error – if my dishwasher is capable of showing one? I’ve found the pump for £65 on eBay, will see if I can find it for £55.
