I’ve always gone for hotpoint ultima 8-9kg, now have a s-line 10 kg, both are extremly quiet and 1600 spin which is brilliant, only downside I would say is programme times on the s-line are very long, talking to others with 10kg machines they say the same

Only difference is it’s off a 8 kg, mines a 10 kg wash. Otherwise the same machine, I’m thinking as it only tells the module what to do, it should work ?
if it wasn’t for the fact it’s only 2 yrs old I would of scrapped it,,
do you have any idea roughly what they charge to re programme the board

Hi Dave, found a replacement on eBay for £30, does that sound about right,, all the numbers the same, except serial number ( obviously that would be different ),, I’m getting ear hole treatment now as it’s in the kitchen,,

Trying to take the top pub out, it seems to be attached to the programme knob, is it just pull or something else holding it ?

I’m thinking the bit where the cable comes in, I’ll check all connections, it had f12 then went dead, I sent board off to a place I’ve used any time I’ve needed,, so I’m sure that’s ok,,

Cheers Dave, I laid it on its side and found it,, next problem is it’s still dead, I’m wondering if it’s popped the power supply box ,, think I have a spare luckily

I would give the machine a good clean out, if you search online there’s plenty of ways, white vinegar and baking soda from memory,, also check your filter is clean,, a 90degree wash with some bleach should move a lot of the rubbish that’s built up between the inner and outer drum
