Switched it on at 2:00pm today and although the compressor is running not even the freezer is working now!
Can I pressume its dead? Is it worth calling an engineer?

    Thanks for your help!
Is it normall for the fridge to be making noises even after being switched off for a few hours?

If it doesnt work then you will either have to let the unit die in fridge freezer heaven or replace it.

Yes, it’s R134a. Would a blockage cause the freezer to be ok or and the fridge not to be? Doesnt the air from the freezer go into the fridge? or is that another model?

    Fingers crossed a defrost works!

Thanks for the reply. Other than leaving it off for 48hrs and switching it back on is there anything else I can do?

I’ve now switched the fridge off and left it defrosting.
Could anyone tell me what panel I need to remove?

    Thanks
