Thanks, I appreciate your advice. Miele do seem to have a good reputation, the only reservation I might have is other advice that suggests you can only repair through an OEM agent and not independents or DIY. I guess one has to balance that against the quality that might mean I don’t need to use their services. I will look at Miele anyway – cheers.
