Thanks, I’ll have a look at that. Any ideas if an issue with the fan bearing / motor would cut short the programme?

I have finally gotten around to having a proper look. Checked continuity to the pcb and that seems fine. Given that the machine does not light up at all when switched on, would you suspect pcb failure or are there other possibilities still?

    K.

Thanks. In that case I guess it’s something more than just thinking it is flooded as ordinarily the control panel would have lights indicating the dishwasher is on and that’s not happening

Thanks for the reply. Would you expect the machine to not even light up if it thinks it’s flooded? Definitely not wet at all where the sensor is under the base, although there was a little rust around where it sits.

Thanks for the quick reply. The door catch seems to register as closed as the display flashes when open and then stops when closed. Not sure if this means it is working correctly

So, it seems its back to the same situation again! Worked for a few days and then stopped again. I have had a look at the impellor (my mother did it last time so I didn’t really see whether there was a lot of gunk or anything major in there) and can see no reason why it would not be working and seems to be turning with no issue.

As before the dishwasher seems to set a programme but nothing happens, no noise of it pumping out or water coming in and no errors. Any ideas of what I should be checking next?

    Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I was looking for where to start and started with the pump impellor as you suggested – my mother tried to clean it out and it still wasn’t working so I had a look and seemed not to be jammed. I wondered if she hadn’t put the cover back on properly though because I got it going after that. So I assume it was clogged up because it’s gone from doing nothing when you press start to working as it should

Thank you for you help, would have taken me a lot longer searching around for the things to check!
