    hmmm, doesnt add up to much quality wise, I agree. Think I should try and go for a compromise, somewhere in the middle of budget and Miele!

    just checked prices of Miele and my budget is about 400 quid so dont think i can put that on my list……….. you get what you pay for I suppose

    Probably not worth it then. Its about 7 years old. I hate not being able to fix stuff though and end up throwing it away……

    Darn it! Replaced element as well and still got the HE code. switched it on and off, unplugged it for a while and kicked it. Still no joy. Any other options??

    Hi Dave, checked with a multimeter and didnt get a reading so assume it must be this. Will order a new one- fingers crossed. Thanks for your help

    Thanks for that Dave. I only pulled the heater and checked it visually. Whats the best way to test it?
