    The Model number is M6040S
    i went to by local shop selling washing machine parts i was told it was £145
    So machine will be going to the tip
    I was just wondering what’s that part at the bottom for the drum by the heater with wires coming from the back?

    We have decided to call out an engineer, but if he is going to charge £100 or more. Then we will have ago ourselves. and if we fail will buy a new machine.

    Thanks for your reply if i was to have a go can you
    lift it out from the top or do you need to remove the front panel?
    Do i need any spicical tools to remove the bearings
    I am an engineer byself so my DIY skills are good.

    Do you think its worth trying to repair it? If so
    how easy is it to remove the drum out of the machine
    Would i have to buy a gasket aswell?

    Also
    How much will the cheaper parts cost
    30mm bearings and spider /shaft?

    I had a look at the machine today The model number is WF320
    I took the lid of i notice the belt has come off, i put the belt back on it works but when its going into spin it sound like a train and their is movement up and down on the inner drum.
    I think the spider is broken
    how easy is it to replace the spider and bearing?

    He has taken the belt off he can turn the drum one way but its hard to turn the opposite way. What could the problem be?
    How easy is it to remove the inner drum?

    There are 10 terminals altogether, If you look at the board from the coil end
    is this the layout of the terminals as follows

    I found the PCB picture shown its burnt by the terminals the track is also burnt away do anyone have a picture of the PCB track?
    The plastic cover holding the terminals in place has also melted
    so will also need a new terminal block. Also what do you think caused the board to blow?

    I found the PCB board and 3 of the terminals are badly burnt the plastic cover on the terminals was also melted. I have taken
    I taken some pictures
    The tracks around the terminals has burnt away do anyone have a picture of the track layout so i can repair the track?
    The serial number on the board is 546056000
    If not do anyone now the price of a new board and the terminal block
